shut up, 07 is the best
hahah, just kidding, nah no one in particular, and you're right, I think the highest amt of money you get is about 2500 dollars, plus it's not even required for admissions. So, studying for the SAT will help you do better on next year's PSAT, and if you get a good score on the SAT, that's where it counts . . although a high PSAT score has its benefits, it's common when applying to top colleges . . so yeah, you're exactly right Hawk, glad we see eye to eye, even if you're a stupid sophomore

Why are sophomores stressing so much about PSAT scores? Unless you need to submit your score with a summer program or internship application, just learn from your experience of taking the test during your sophomore year.

i hate when people prep for the psat. the psat is a prep tool. studying for the sats is fine but studying for the psat is crap because it takes opportunities away from those who naturally decent.

im a sophomore and i got my psats back. I didnt prep whatsoever, and i guess i should have but whatever...I got 204 but i know i should have done better silly me

citygirlsmom, I think Gospy was being sarcastic. Please don't take everything so seriosuly, especially on this board, since we're mostly a bunch of immature high school guys/girls.:)

I got a 211 sophomore year but I forgot to sign up for the test junior year. But it doesn't matter that much, since colleges don't look at your scores unless you get the National Merit thing or whatever it's called. So don't worry about it. You have plenty of time to improve before you take the SATs.

suave don't wory about it. I got a similar score to you as a sophomore and wound up with a 1980 as a senior. While that may not be HYPSM SAT's, I'm going to Wake Forest next year which is pretty good at academics too ;) Just practice practice practice.

Firstly, I'm a Sophomore. I got a 196, and I took it with very little sleep (4 or 3 hours) and without having seen anything similar to the PSAT before.

Worst advice I've ever gotten: "Skip math problems you don't think you'll have enough time to answer." I only missed one problem, and (idiotically) omitted 2, so I got a 64 on that portion. Then 71 on Writing and 61 on Critical Reading. 94%.
