<p>I received a letter in the mail a few days ago that reminds me of those organizations from high school that mailed information for money from a fake honor organization.</p>
<p>Is this the same case? Or should I pay the 59 bucks to join the charter?</p>
<p>It looks legit- and they have a chapter at USC. I'd encourage my s or d to do it for a good way to get involved/network/etc. and be able to put it on your resume.

<p>D got one the other day too. Said she's gonna fill out the app so she can get her free pin. Seeing as the app cost like $50 bucks, I told her that the pin wasn't considered free in my book...:)</p>
