Silly question perhaps !

Hello, I'm new an here and also not yet a college student. I intend to start my year at NYU.
I have coulple of question regarding information I'm failing to find right now, which I'm certain current students know more about

1)Where can I find the full course listing of NYU? I found Albert, is that it ?

2) How can I see the GPAs, Grade Distributions and student reviews about courses?

3)How can I match between a course and its required text book ? Should I care about that now ?

4) What course managment software does NYU work with ? Is there a way I can send a message to an entire course members ? (For instance asking them future questions regarding my studyings.. )

Thanks alot in advance people

Each college(sometimes department) has a “courses” section on their website.

NYU has an internal rating system, which you can’t access if you are not a student. For Stern evaluations, you actually need to be in Stern to see them. CAS evaluations are available to all NYU students. Not sure about other schools. You could try Rate My Professors, but the internal system is a lot better.

The NYU Bookstore will give you a list of required books once you are registered for the semester. Don’t worry about that now, although I encourage you to never buy books before classes start.

NYU is actually introducing a software called NYU Classes this semester. Apparently this is not much better than Blackboard. You should never send a message to an entire department. Isn’t NYU faculty directory accessible by everyone? Don’t mess with mass messages or reply all unless you want to be the next Max Wiseltier. It wouldn’t help your case at all if you emailed an entire department with non-specific questions. Asking individual faculty members is fine.
