I’m from Massachusetts, so I’m not really used to the standards used by people from Washington and on the West Coast in general, so I’m wondering, when people say their gpa is a 3.7 or something, is that on a 4.0 or a 5.0 scale and is it generally weighted or unweighted? On the UW Admissions site it says that the middle 50% for accepted gpa’s is 3.64-3.93, but is that on an unweighted or weighted 4.0 or 5.0 scale? Thanks!
Unweighted 4.0, I believe
Not a silly question.
Definitely unweighted 4.0 scale.
The standard for Washington high schools is to report unweighted.
Unweighted 4.0.
