Single or Double? Need help!

I'll be living in North Quad for the upcoming year in a double suite - so I'll be living with a roommate. I never thought this would happen, but yesterday someone who lives in a single emailed me about a potential room swap. Normally, I would jump at the chance to have my own room, but I'm not really sure if I should take up on her offer?

Price-wise, it makes more sense to take the single - they both cost the same and this way, I would have my own room and be devoid of any potential roommate issues. But I also got my roommate assignment and while I understand facebook can never give a complete picture, she seemed very bright, on top of her game and just someone who I would get along with very well. And I know I could always put myself on the waiting list for NQ singles. In addition, I'm also apart of the Global Scholars Program, so living here, I would be surrounded by people from my program as opposed to living in a single in a non-GSP hall.

Could anyone give me some input? Thanks so much!

how do they cost the same?

It’s a double suite - at least in NQ, it’s the same price as living in a single.

Since you’re in GSP, I would stick with GSP housing for this year. Definitely makes for a better social experience.
