Single Room Strategy

I would really like to get a single room so I have ranked the halls that UW suggests for having the best chance at getting a single room. I also understand that if you join a learning community you get to select which room you want (from the ones available), so I was wondering if I get into the Chadbourne learning community (which includes rooms in Chadbourne Hall and Barnard Hall) if I would have the option to choose one of the single rooms in Barnard. If so, would this give me the best chance of getting a single room?

I think so, but call UW Housing and ask.

All the singles in Barnard are taken for girls. There might be 1-2 left for guys.
