SIR ucla

Is the process to SIR for ucla easy and straight forward? Is it all done online? I haven't SIRed yet, cause I am still waiting on one of my spring grades. Might have to SIR on tuesday. Just wanna make sure the process is simple.

I got 2 As and 1 B so far for spring, and the other class I am waiting on is probably a B as well. With Bs in 5 units class, my term gpa is only about 3.4, will ucla revoke my admission? When applied my gpa was 3.88ish. Not sure how much the over all gpa will drop, probably to 3.78 something. Am I safe to still SIR ucla with poor spring grades?

SIRing is basically clicking the yes box and paying your registration fee. As for your grades, you’re fine. Usually it’s maintain a 3.0 for winter or spring with nothing lower than a C. You can check your actual conditions of admissions on your admissions page.

My condition of admission is ambiguous. It does not say to have a 3.0 or anything, but it does say to maintain my GPA and to report if there are an excessive Cs or D or F. But what do they mean by maintaining the gpa? Does it imply that my gpa should not drop at all?

it just means your GPA shouldn’t take a shock drop. so 2 A’s and 2 B’s will probably be less than a .1 drop. Now if it fell half a point, you’d be in trouble. You don’t have to worry at all. Your grades are fine.

I see…Thanks!
