<p>After submitting my SIR several weeks ago and then having checked it it asked me to mail them my parents taxes, bank statement, car registration and others. I find what they are asking to be quite personal mostly the bank statement. Why are they asking me to do this? Btw I am a citizen my parents are not.</p>
<p>Which department is asking? Financial aid asked me for parents taxes and stuff like that, not car registration though.
You might want to call the specific department and ask why they’re asking for that.</p>
<p>Your car registration? That’s strange. Are you receiving this notices on your MyUCR account or Growl? Things like tax statements are generally required for financial aid information, but I would suggest calling your academic department (like NDD101 said) and the financial aid department for more information.</p>
