Is the best!!

hahah i got sixth college too . . . it was my first choice :[

apparently i should have done some research before ranking my choices

i’m actually a current freshman at sixth college, no, there is nothing wrong with sixth

Haha well that certainly makes me feel better :P

my friend was berating me earlier for not choosing Revelle or something D:

clearly your friend doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about.

revelle? if he mentioned muir or warren, maybe i’d understand, but really… REVELLE???

revelle has terrible GE’s, their dining hall is among the worst on campus, and some of their res halls are just straight up terrible. argo isn’t that bad, but the others are horrible

^Everybody’s entitled to their own preferences I suppose. I find it interesting how people tend to rank the colleges based off of crazy things they hear and not look at what is actually important, which is the GEs they’ll have to take.

I got into sixth college, to be honest i don’t even remember ranking my college choices. What is sixth college like?

Ouch, sixth? I’m so sorry guys. :(

um. I’m a first year at Sixth and honestly it is not that bad. you will have to adapt to having some of your classes pretty far from the dorms, and get used to the food, or the long walk if you want an actual “dining hall.” but I hear terrible things about Sixth that have no basis in fact, really, so… don’t worry you can learn to enjoy it here just as much as anywhere else on campus :)

Actually, most things said about Sixth have a basis in reality. Your degree of enjoyment will depend on how much you’re willing to ignore the detriments you face day after day after day.

you’re an idiot mapthesoul. get off your high horse and take a seat. every college is basically the same besides GE’s and dorms. and sixth’s GE’s are average, and the dorms are the same as everywhere else, as stated by my friends from other colleges who have come to my dorms.

haha thanks for posting this but I still feel like I don’t know much about 6th :p

@mapthesoul:

Your degree of enjoyment will depend on how much you’re willing to ignore the detriments you face day after day after day.

same can be said about any college, any school, anywhere.

just view them as challenges rather than detriments… and you can focus on the positive

Between happyhappy and mapthesoul, I’ve seen “college is what you make it” in action.
I guess it’s all about attitude.

what’s there to know igotsunshine?

when you actually get here or go to admit day, you’ll notice that there really is not much of a difference between each college besides where you live and the GE’s you take. besides that, it’s not like one college is any smarter than the other or whatnot.

@figuresk8ting
exactly! :)

I never bothered ranking the colleges and just went by default 1~6 I think…and I got into sixth lol. I’d also like to get an idea of how it compares to the other ones…

got into sixth, content with it :]
