You need to apply and get in first, so I wouldn’t worry about making a choice right now. All I can tell you for SDSU it is a very difficult admit if you are not attending a local SD CCC.
I’m currently residing in Sacramento and planning to attend a local community college, when talking to a counselor about transferring she made it clear that I should know where I want to transfer so I pick the right classes.
So SDSU accepts mostly local CC transfers?
Yes, to get into SDSU you need to take the majority of your CCC units at a local SD CCC since they give priority to locals. It is still possible to get an acceptance but take a look at the transfer decision thread for this year:
I believe San Marcos has a fine program in Kinesiology. It’s near San Diego and it’s easier to get into.
