You didn’t ruin anything
And she obviously did not reply because she’s going to know your decision before you do (she’s part of the people voting) haha.
i know thats why i must have sounded like the silliest applicant ever:)
Try not to worry so much about that! You’re probably overthinking this but I’m sure the interviewer will understand it’s a normal, minor mistake and won’t let it influence your admissions decision
Exactly
How was the interview initiated? Did you guys email the admission office for the interview? Or They emailed you to appear for the interview? I applied for ED 2 cycle and haven’t appeared for the interview yet.
you are already late for it I am sorry:( U had to email somewhere with your info and they would have give you a interviewer with whom then you can determine the date and time.
deadline was 15 Jan i guess
Yes, unfortunately you are too late for an interview. You are meant to schedule one by yourself as it is hidden somewhere in their website, and I guess lots of international students missed it like you did.
When are the skidmore decisions emailed? I’m an international student so the time difference drives me crazy.
@Lisa MK I’m an international student as well. What’s your time difference from New York? And are you ED2 or RD? In my experience from what I’ve read on here, ED2 will get theirs around Feb. 15th and in Skidmore’s email to confirm my application, it says decisions will be MAILED late March. And in the past, international applicants get their decisions through email first and a bit earlier because of the time it would take for the mail to arrive. So I’m guessing mid-March, but I’m not aware of the exact date. Ask an admissions officer if they could provide you with that info!
@munit123 I’ll email them. I am RD. I am so nervous and I can’t stop watching these videos about how the board of admissions in different universities make their decisions.
Has anybody else done A levels on this group?
@Lisa MK Admittedly, we all watch those videos! I’m also nervous. Well I was before. But now I’m self-studying economics (more specificaaly the Crash Course one on YouTube if you’re curious) to pass away time! And I’ve learned so much. Basically, what I’m saying is to find something else to do to pass away the time. Mine is worse because I’m on a gap year. My school’s curriculum makes most of us applying to the US graduate a year prior to enrollment in college.
And I took the IGCSEs! And also my country’s WASSCE/WAEC. I didn’t take A levels but I’m studying A level Economics at home right now. What subjects did you take? And what’s your planned major?
oh that IGCSEs I have been taking almost all of them past years. I couldnt indicate them on common app.
@iambibliophile You have the official certificate for it from Cambridge right? Or the Statement of Results that your school will print out in its name with your IGCSE grades on it? Your counselor is meant to add it on his recommendation school report account as one of your transcripts. If he/she has submitted the school report already, ask him/her mail it to Skidmore
@iambibliophile yeah that’s kinda important because that is proof of your secondary education. Did you do IB after your IGCSEs or did you continue with your A levels?
@munit123 I want to study political science or international relations. A level economics is hard man! what you’re doing is amazing.
Haha thanks! It’s just really interesting. I finally roughly understand the financial stuff they talk about on the news.
@munit123 Which country did u apply from
