Yeah… 1st quarter grades are very important, and private AND public schools will definitely be sending them along. Skidmore also called my guidance counselor to request them.

I really really hope we hear tomorrow. I can’t stand it anymore.

Anyone get the letter yet?

I don’t think we’re getting them tomorrow… The waiting is KILLING me too, but the people I know who did ED last year said they got their letters ON the 15th. I can’t even wait 4 days.

I found out today that they did ask for my 1st quarter grades and I’m bummed becuase I got a C in math but I have since brought it up to a B.

Yeah I’m pretty sure they asked everyone for first quarter grades

BAAAH All of my friends who applied to Columbia and UPenn found out today and I just about died. I want to know so badly.

alright. today could be the day. anyone’s mail come yet?

Nope. Nothing yet. But I’m a nervous wreck. :(

Just out of curiosity, just because I’ve never heard the term before, what’s a super-scored SAT?

Super scored is when they take the highest score of an individual section on your SAT or ACT so you get the highest score possible. Like if you took two SATs and got a 550, 700, and a 690 on one and then got a 680, 650, and 700 on the second they would use the 680,700,and 700 to give you the best score possible. I offically hate my mailman by the way for not getting here faster!

Oh man the mail came today and nothing. Sorry everyone. I thought it would come today. I guess the 15th will be the day.

Same here! No letter for me! sigh

I just talked to my guidance counselor though and he said he knows for a fact that they were sent out! SO it’s only a matter of time and distance!

Ok thanks Ash!

If they were mailed today then they will probably get here on Monday. Because it said they were probably going to be mailed the 13th and get to us on the 15th, but maybe we’ll know on Monday if that’s the case!.. Which would be great because I’m done with waiting.

I believe he said that they were mailed yesterday, so Monday sounds about right!

Not sure how everyone else’s kid is handling this, but my daughter is incredibly quiet and has been in her room for most of the weekend. She says that she is not nervous - probably the biggest lie she has ever told me. It is hitting me how badly she wants to go there. I hope we find out tomorrow!

OK, did anyone else get this email? I haven’t gotten my letter yet, but my heart literally stopped when I got this since I kind of assumed it meant I got in. I called and they said it was an “error” and not worry about it.
