Skiing.......season ending

I'm sad that the season's ending....I could get up to Tahoe one more time, but I like Utah much better......skiing is definitely my favorite sport and now I'll need Warren Miller or something to fill the void...

You could travel to New Zealand or Argentina in June and July, where it is in full season.

I thought about asking my dad to go to Portillo.....but I think it's more racing style there.

Are you a CC or downhill skier?

uphill skiing rocks...

I ski everything, but usually off-piste. My dad shudders if I even mention racing.

Why does your father dislike racing? Did he have some type of accident?

haha no, he just doesn't think it's real skiiing. I love it (not competively) and we've been skiiing with these guys my dad's age for a few years. they go to race camp at mt. hood and do off-piste and they taught me a lot. i can actually carve the right way now, and I love it!

I love skiing. I go to the ski ridges in Lake Tahoe every year (except this one, unfortunately). Maybe the Alps will work for you. I don't know if they open the parks there in the summer.

I don't know how long the snow lasts there, however, unless you are at something like Cortina d'Ampezzo.

I've always wanted to go to Chamonix - that's an awesome mountain. Cortina sounds cool too. It's Picabo Street's favorite place. My favorite right now is in Utah.
