I'm currently a senior. Throughout my 4 years of high school, I've been taking all Honors & AP courses, with the exception of 5 regular electives. I got a C and F in AP Euro freshman year and never made it up. I slacked off way to much during sophomore year and got some C's, D's, and F's. My unweighted GPA was a 2.15. However, junior year, I stepped up my game and made up all of my D's and F's and got mostly all A's that entire year. I have all A's right now so hopefully it will stay that way. I will be retaking the SAT's in 2 weeks.

Sorry, but I think UF would be a high reach right now. A 1640 is very low for them and I see that the average acceptance of a SAT 1600-1940 is 37.9 (and most of those people probably are on the upper end - Source admissions.ufl.edu/ugrad/frprofile.html). Sadly, I don’t think your rank would offset it. Also, although I don’t think your UW GPA is high enough, your wighted may be very good; maybe you should try recalculating by their standards and see what you have if you haven’t already. I think the best thing you could do is write a perfect essay if you apply, study and hope you do well on the November SAT’s.
