Sleeping schedules..

school year- I fall asleep between 2 and 3 am, wake up at 6:45, then
crash between 6 and 7 pm

summer- I fall asleep later and wake up later, to the point where I am convinced that I'm actually nocturnal, and summer lets me return to my natural sleeping habits.

;)

then again, the valedictorian at my school only sleeps for 4 hours every night, and uses all the extra time for studying...depends on if you're physically active, i guess, and also on your genes? it's good to get in some quick 30 minute power naps throughout the day if you're sleeping less than 5 hours a night, though, that's what my friend the valedictorian does

My sleep schedule is screwed up.
School Year: Usually go to sleep around 11:30-12 and wake up around 6:15, sometimes 6.

Summer(this year):
Mon-Thurs: Sleep around 12-1 and wake up around 6 cause I have to go volunteer and crap.
Fri-Sun: Sleep around 1-2 and wake up around 10-12.

School year: I go to bed anywhere between 11 and 12, wake up at 6:30

Summer: I go to bed around 2 and wake up sometime around 10:30 or 11

I'm something of an insomniac, though, and it's very rare that I fall asleep within an hour of the time I go to bed. =/

i go to sleep like 4/5 and get up at like noon during the summer and during school i go to bed about 10/11 and get up about 5:30 and leave for school about 6:15ish

I was totally gonna try polyphasic sleep (AKA Da Vinci sleep) this summer, but I don't have any time left! Basically I would've slept for half an hour every 4 hours or so. It's supposed to be very refreshing, and you have more time in the day.

(Kramer did it on Seinfeld. It didn't work for him. lol That's not where I got the idea, though...)

That's an interesting sleep pattern. I don't think it'd work for me.

what i used to do during the school year:
sleep around 12AM/1AM-6:30AM

summer:
around 1, 2, or 3AM-11AM, 12PM, or 1PM
haha so bad

I read from a eBook that we should sleep 8.75 hours everyday, so I sleep from 11:00 - 7:45 right now during the summer.

Well the thing is that there is no such thing as oversleeping because the body is programmed to sleep until we wake up. So the real problem is when you undersleep and your body will try to make up for it with more sleep.

Maybe I just tell myself this because my mom gives me an 8.00 curfew.

In school, I try really heard to get 8 hours of deep sleep. When I'm home for breaks/summer I tend to get 10 hours of deep sleep.

It's very hard to get 8 hours of Deep sleep while in school

5-6 Hours a night for me.

during school: sleep @ 1 a.m. and wake up @ 5:20 a.m.

summer: sleep @ 4 or 5 a.m. and wake up @ 2 to 3 p.m.

lol.

I get about 7-9 hours of sleep daily during the summer, but I still feel really tired throughout the day.

during school: 10-6:10
this summer (I have work): 11-7
previous summers: 2-10 weekends: no sleep :)

Don't most people who work get around 6 hours? Sleeping for 8 hrs/day is unreal for me.

^ same, 8 hours never happens

during school: 1-6
summer: 11-6

not terrible.......

My cousin works everyday and he has no problem sleeping 8~9 hours a day.

...why would you, unless your school ends really late or something? His ends at 3pm, and works 2 hours everyday or so (granted, I concede the time may be shorter if you guys work like hardcore 4~6 hours everyday), gets back, rests, dinner, some hw for like an hour, chill, sleep?

During school.. hmm. I used to sleep 3/4 hours a day freshman year but I crashed really hard and really badly every couple of months and couldn't do it anymore sophomore year. Like, no matter how much I tried, I just could not function for even a couple of days on what I used to get freshman year. As a junior, I slept 5-7 hours, and pulled maybe a dozen all-nighters.

Summertime consists of me waking up a 7am for work every day, then napping at around 6pm until 8, and falling asleep again at 3am-ish.
