Slipping grades in final quarter

I’m a high school senior committed to William and Mary right now. The first three years of high school I got mostly A’s. This year I got a few A’s and B’s and one C and was admitted. After I got admited I stopped caring and haven’t really been going to some classes. Anyways this quarter I might end with and F, 2 Cs and the rest B’s and A’s. However my final grade (this quarter grade averaged with the other three quraters and final) will be A C and the rest B’s and A’s.
I guess my question is will the college look at the quarter grades and rescind me or just the final grade and do nothing (because they let me in with 1 C)
Thanks

Correction, I will end with 2 C’s in my final portfolio.

William and Mary will decide if the school will rescind admissions. While unlikely if you earn grades higher than Cs, check the schools website for information about rescinding admission. Not attending class and loss of motivation after is certainly a problem. College classes last only a term for the most part which means you will have less time to slack off and improve your grades within a few months. You may also find skipping classes particularly enticing when you combine lack of supervision, including personal over yourself, with inducements in college. Finally, faculty grade class performance on rests (maybe only midterm and final) and assignments on the basis of academic criteria. Admissions isn’t a question perhaps as much as retention. Be careful and thoughtful!

The only grade I would really be concerned about is the F. I think college expect to see a little dip in grades second part of senior year but an F looks like you didn’t care and that might concern them. Have you talked to your guidance counselor about this?
