<p>I just received an email from Smith confirming that letters will be sent out this Friday, and gving instructions for how to check our decisions online. ahhhhh! good luck, everyone : )</p>
<p>yeah good luck, I thought it was the actual decision till it said 25!</p>
<p>I hope every ladies here get into Smith College (that includes myself as well

and we can say “WE ARE SMITHIE! AHHH” and scream and cheer.</p>
<p>but at the same time, I am scared to death. Now I have to wake up from my sweetest dream… but I also hope my reality would be just like my dream!</p>
<p>I just got a letter about STRIDE today and I live in MA!!! :DD SO HAPPY</p>
<p>Congrats to everyone that got STRIDE letters! I’m expecting a rejection but hoping that I’ll get waitlisted…sigh. when I got the email about decisions coming out Friday I nearly fainted because I thought they were available!</p>
<p>Can’t wait till this Friday! I don’t know if I should check online or wait till the letter arrives …</p>

<p>Did any of you fill out those emails to “win Smith College gear” with the little Sophia Smith person and you have to guess where she is in the world? </p>

<p>About the China thing…
I live in Utah and um…don’t see many other states besides Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, ect. But, that is what google images is for :)</p>
<p>For my app, it wasn’t good because smith college application was the first one I finished…like in october. Then when I was done with all of my other applications in late december, I noticed I didn’t put down the most important acitivities I did in Smith Application, I made carelss spelling mistake in Smith suppliment. </p>
<p>well, I sent them my new-version application later and I asked my essay editor/mentor to write me a recommandation to Smith College, I had an interview after then to make up that mistake. However, I am afraid that they will not take me because of my bad application… (in the other hand, I was in their mailing list since i was 10th grade. so…they should see I love smith)</p>
<p>so…I don’t know they saw my love of Smith in my app. I really hope they do!</p>
<p>about Bangkok thing
I am from S. Korea and I am currently living in Virginia. I never been to Bangkok or outside of Korea, excpet USA and Philippinne,before and I only saw pictures of Chicago (my dad too picture of Chicago when he went to Chicago for business) and I thought the picture of Smith gear that looke like Chicago. I don’t know…and they really should post the answer…because I really want to know!

<p>I applied as a transfer and on my BannerWeb under Application Status there’s now a link that says “UPDATE ME” (in all caps). Anyone else have this or know what it’s for? When I click it, it starts a new email message addressed to “UPDATE ME” with my Banner ID in the subject line.</p>
<p>Does anyone know of a person who applied to selective college with low stats and got accepted because of personal qualities?</p>

<p>I just got waitlisted to Scripps College with a 490 in math. It made my day! :)</p>
<p>What would happen if one appealed a rejection from a school like Smith…(preparing for the worst!)</p>
<p>I don’t think you can appeal a rejection. Once you’re rejected, that’s pretty much that. </p>
<p>But don’t worry so much! I’m sure it’s going to work out for all of you. Deep breaths, just a few more days.</p>
<p>I guess I should add that my situation is fairly unique…I was hospitalized for half of my second quarter of school, and out of school recovering for the rest of the time. So my senior grades=not so great. They’re being changed next week , so I thought I could send them to Smith and see if it made any difference.

<p>broomsticks, if you’ve mentioned that anywhere in your application, you should be fine. A few more days!!! Thursday, Friday, then SATURDAY! (I live in Japan so mine comes out at 7 am Saturday morning) It’s 3 am here, and I can’t fall asleep thinking about Smith >.<</p>
