^ I find your obsession with everything Smith to be incredibly enjoyable to read on this thread my friend.

I have been doing the same things with my dream school (though Smith is a close second/third). It’s a bit irritating to wake up from one of those dreams, isn’t it? Especially when you have them over…and over.

ryanghee0223, I check Smith’s website at least 7 times a day. I’ve planned out the classes I’ll take for all four years, read the descriptions for every house, visited every possible college sites to read about Smith, know every stat out there about Smith as well as what grad schools Smithies end up going. Our obsession with Smith is never ending of course I check CC in all my free times as well. I really really hope we get in!!

@mitul63, you just described my life for the last few months.

I think my Smith obsession has yours beat, though. Since around February, I’ve been waking up randomly in the middle of the night (we’re talking 3 AM here) to sleep-check my phone for an acceptance/rejection email from Smith. I’ll open my eyes to find myself staring into a too-bright phone, wondering when exactly I picked it up. I literally eat, breathe, and sleep Smith!

I was surprised at first after reading ryanghee0223’s post that there was someone who was in the same situation as me! But hey, there’s more haha. Ever since the day I submitted all my materials on common app, it’s all about constant refresh buttons on CC and my mail. Hahaha, that’s pretty interesting jesm11, 5 more super long, tiring, stressful days to endure and we can finally get our decisions. sigh This is going to be the longest, most stressful week of 2011.

it is good to know that I’ m not the only one who dreams about being at Smith College.
It is really stressful and I am really worry about the worst situation. I think I will just cry all day if I don’t get it…(well then I will try to transfer to Smith as soon as possible…)

I really hope I get in…and let my dream come true.

Meanderer: You know what, SAME HERE! I dream myself in smith navy-blue shirts and walking in to my hometown Starbucks in summer! AHHH! I can’t wait!

^ Yeah, I wish AP take-home exams were enough to keep me busy, but I just can’t find the heart to finish them with, you know, my next four years of higher education on the line!

Financial aid offers are NOT posted online. You can only find out online if you’ve been accepted, denied, or waitlisted. Your financial aid offer will come with your official acceptance letter in the mail, whenever that arrives.

However, in the past people who are getting STRIDE scholarship offers receive those letters in the mail a few days before the rest of the decision letters get sent out. But again, I emphasize, they get the notification in the mail.

^ I still wear my dark blue zip up hoodie with Smith in white letters on one side. Lasted me through all four years of undergrad, and now through two years of alum status. I know from experience that you can walk from Cutter to the Campus Center in a sweatshirt of that weight and flip flops without freezing as long as the temperature is 28 degrees or higher.

Meanderer - I respect your knowledge of Smith website…I mean…I watch every single Smith video in Youtube.com and read every single words in Smith website and what is the read brief town articles of Northampton…but wow…HOW CAN YOU FIND THESE???

ps. I saw a navy-blue t-shirts (short sleave) with [SMITH] in white. That’s my idea! :)

Ohhh, I saw the T’s too! They are pretty sexy stuff, I must say. I just really have a thing for sweaters. They feel so…sporty? Something like that.

Also, I am very honored to receive such praise from such a Smithie buff. That particular one was on the LAST PAGE of this random website that was selling all these college clothing items. It might have been quicker if I had google imaged or something, now that I think about it. Ah well.
