smith/complex

i got put in smith-i cant tell if i like that or not

same here, except i'm in thomas. anyone have anything to say about pros/cons?

I lived in Smith! Complex is the best!

All personal bias aside, Complex is a great place to live. It's really close to the main library and the Schwartz Performing Arts Center (if practicing piano/tuba/underwater violin every day is your thing) and the main quad is about a three minute walk, tops. There's a kitchen (Hopkins 1st), a couple of laundry rooms (Smith Ground and Thomas 1st) and a gym (Thomas 1st) in the building so that's really convenient. The rooms are bigger than Dobbs with plenty of storage. If you went on a tour, they probably showed you a room on Hopkins 2nd.
As far as cons, you're right next to the hospital so at first the helicopter will probably distract you, but you get used to it quickly. If you live on Smith 3rd (like I did) you'll have a lot of stairs to go up and down because it's technically the fourth floor (the most-used entrance is on Smith Ground which is the floor below Smith) but that'll stave off the freshman fifteen. Finally, the Complex All-Stars have won Songfest two years in a row, so you've got the pressure of continuing the streak. :-)
