Anyone knows or have any info about this hall ? I searched it up in google map and that's about all the info I know about this hall. :(

Hey. I was wondering about Smith Hall as well. On ************** it is listed as one of the worst dorms on campus. Is this true? Also what is it like living in the Community Service LLC?

No way, I liked Smith Hall. Rooms were oddly large sometimes and the design seemed pretty cool. No A/C, but few of the freshmen dorms have it anyway (and you don’t need A/C past september). Sort of far from the class buildings, but not too bad. It is also a lot less jail-like than the Stetsons or Speare.

I had a friend who lived in Smith last year and we would often joke about the building’s perceived issues, but when I actually wound up living there in consolidation housing, I found that it really wasn’t so bad, mainly because its location was so much better than where I’d lived before- not necessarily in reference to classes, but in reference to the city itself. (I’d lived in IV btw, which is basically only near Roxbury)

I’ve lived in other Universities dorms for summer programs and such, and Smith is a few notches above what I’ve seen elsewhere anyway- the only specific issue I’ve heard about relating to Smith was that it seems to have a small rat issue- or at least a few people down the hall from me had one.

I lived in Smith hall last year. The housing itself was GREAT! the problem I had with it was that 1. Only 50 Girls and 250 Guys.
2. Kinda out of the way.

The Bathroom was first class. My room was small for a regular room but I managed well.
