Has anyone received their "snail mail" from Cornell? We're in New York, so expected that if the letter was posted yesterday it would have arrived today, and we have nothing. The e-mail is one thing, but the hard copy will make it totally real.

My friend and I both received our snail mail decisions today, but we live in New York, about 30 minutes away from Cornell. Included with the decision (which is more elaborate than the online one) are a timeline and the "acceptance coupon" which contains a form for the deposit.

I received the decision today, in MD

Yeah the decisions were mailed the 15th so everyone should be getting them relatively soon, depending upon their respective locations...

i'm so excited to get it! someone told me you get a car decal thingy. what else comes in it?

wow, wonder how long it'll take to get over the pacific ocean...? :D

India's gonna take a long time...

i suppose so will Taiwan...

To anyone who has got their mail: What comes in it?

my S got his yesterday--it had official acceptance letter, deposit coupon($400. by jan 13), and an info sheet saying he'll get more info re: fin aid, etc., also a reminder to withdraw other apps., nodecal thingy in his though--too bad!!

NOOOOOOO that is it I'm withdrawing my application and I'll just accept the consequences. If they can't buy me a 2 cent decal to make me really happy then they obviously don't want me enough.

Aww, momof3teens. That description was disappointing. I was hoping it'd be a big envelope stuffed with info (residence stuff, visitation..etc). I guess those won't come until the RD people are in. =(
