Woot I'm so happy (even though I haven't been to school since Tuesday lol).

Who else? I know almost everybody in lower Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, etc. Huge storm!

Woohoo yup! I'm in St. Louis here. We had an early release on Thursday as well!

Not yet =( kdajflkjdaf;lkjadl

Actually, I'm quite mad about the snow day because I wanted to go to school :(

WOOOOOT SNOW DAY !!!!!!!

I needed this. I am about 30 miles from Chicago.

Me too!!! I go to school in Ann Arbor.

I hope we get more snow, though! lol

WHEE!

St. Louis, and our superintendent is from Alaska, too!

It's going to be pretty amusing, though. My friends and I were supposed to film our Illegal Immigration video project today, and it's supposed to be set in the desert. As far as I know, our plans have not changed...

Yep, snow day!
I didn't really need to even listen to the WJR reports... as soon as I heard that Livonia was out, I was certain that we would be, too.

Yesterday, our science teacher informed our class that the administration had distributed teacher paychecks already, "just in case" it was a snow day. That was a dead giveaway... I only wonder why the district didn't bother to do the same about report cards. ;)

yeah, livonia's out today.

im so ****ed though.

it's my birthday today. i really wanted to go to school because i'm reading the announcements and i've been planning for months how i was going to say my birthday.

plus i won't be there monday cuz im going to a funeral and i really have stuff i needed to get done for a fundraiser that day.

and then there's the fact that we only had like an inch of snow actually come down...

/rant.

Snow Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm northwest of Chicago, we had like half a foot of snow. I refuse to do any schoolwork today.

I have a snow day, but that also meant that the mock trial tournament an hour and a half drive from here was also canceled. It's the only tournament, with no make-up. I hope we can do something with all the preparation that went into it.

I always check online for school closings. It takes forever to watch for them on TV. And radio just totally sucks for school closings because they can't dedicate all their time to them, while on TV you at least have a ticker.

me too! i live in new york.. there was actually no snow when i woke up.. but they cancelled school in anticipation for the snow and ice.

Happy Birthday puppy!!!

Yeah, we were one of the first to close which came as a huge shock.

Me, but you already knew that. I think the music department should get credit for the snow day - we played especially well for Dr. Ryan's retirement party.

^^ Lmao. People are mad because this means that Variety is... is cancelled.

Well, I didn't realize that. Oh well.

Yeah, snow day here as well. I'm a bit outside of Chicago, actually right on the Northwestern campus (although I don't go to NU).

According to my mom, I literally fell asleep over the Odyssey last night. I'm rather glad about the day off, as I don't think cramming 400 lines of Homer into my bus ride would've been very relaxing...
