<p>I think they automatically reject anyone who is exactly 1 minute late, but it’s cool if you sent it in like a week later. There’s just something about applying at 12:01 Jan 2 that bugs every admissions officer.</p>

<p>I submitted my Stanford app at 12:03 Dec 2 (art supp deadline) and a day later the admissions office sent me a picture of my app in the trash. IT WAS THE MOST TRAUMATIZING MOMENT OF MY LIFE. I still have nightmares about it. :(</p>
