So did the Fin Aid office receive your ED CSS Profile yet??

superexcited
I believe so, I had CSS in my ‘to-do list’ and now it just says “No current to do item information found.” I think that means that they have already reviewed/started reviewing our CSS Profiles.

hey guys, does anyone know when we hear back? I always thought the 15th but people are saying earlier now.

I’m starting to think this means I have no hope and I should just give up now :'(

My to-do list: No current to do item information found.

@allnycolleges: It has been officially announced that decisions come out Dec 9, 5:00 PM (eastern)

@krmh11: calm down, for all we know, you may be worrying yourself for no reason. we should all still have hope. just a few more days  good luck!

so how do we find out is it just the letter i guess the next day?

My to-do list has said “No current to do information found” ever since I logged in to the application status page (even before I completed my CSS profile). Currently, after Cornell has received my CSS profile, it still says the same thing; I never had any to-do list to begin with but Cornell has my stuff. Just call them

@allnycolleges: We find out online on a specific website. Cornell will be emailing us with the details a couple of days before the 9th, I believe.

I think this is the website:

https://app.applyyourself.com/?id=cornellu</a></p>

@bluapples, thanks I just saw it on the website… goodluck to everyone!

Fin Aid office can be reached at 607.255.5145 if anyone needs to catch their missing CSS Profile (and when you know what’st he problem, please do tell me!!! xD)

All right Drelnis here’s the situation. My mom called the financial aid office today and they said that they received my non-custodial parent profile, but not the general CSS. The person my mom spoke with said that they would email collegeboard or something like that and try to get it or something (my mom told me that the person she was speaking with wasn’t extremely helpful). And this person was supposed to send me some sort of email but she didn’t. Sooooooooo…idk. Hopefully things work out but you should probably call the financial aid office yourself and see what’s up with yours and see if they say the same thing or not. I don’t even know what to think now

krmh and drelnis, i have the same issue and emailed the admissions office. they replied that they didnt recieve my css for some reason but not to worry they can retrieve it manually and thus i shouldnt worry.

so i think its just a problem theyre having with collegeboard for some people. idk, if they say its gonna be alright then i guess we dont have anytthing to worry abt. cheer up, work on other college apps meanwhile fr a change :p

uhhhhh i just checked again and now it says no current to do item information found. ??? i guess that is a good thing…

I had the same e-mail as you pakistaniasian,

“We should be able to get you an aid decision by next week. For some reason your PROFILE didn’t get sent to us but we can retrieve the data manually, which we will do right away so we can review your aid application.”

right? My to do list still says CSS is missing, maybe it won’t be tomorrow? :)

Well, guys I had a small problem wid my Aid application. Actually there was a spelling mistake in my father’s name and I called the office. A lady told me to send them an email and I did accordingly. Later I got an email which says “We have included the info provided by u in your Financial Application file” … But my problem is that I am not sure if they have received all the necessary documents or not. Actually I had faxed the documents and right now I am not sure If they received it or not… So do I need to call them again???

“The financial aid “To Do List” displays documents that are needed to complete your financial aid application. If you have not applied for aid, or if you have submitted all items, you will receive a message that you have “no current to do items” to complete.”

so i submitted my css profile like 2 days ago
i did the 2011-2012 one because tahts the one they asked you to do
but on there it asked for 2010 tax returns…
my dad says no one has those yet so we just put 0 in those sections
anyone else have this problem?

you don’t do the tax returns yet…that’s later if you get accepted along with the FAFSA and stuff. for now it’s just CSS (if you applied ED)

Hey, I submitted for a long time but on my account, it is said that:

To Do List
To Do Item Detail
Binh Thai
CSS PROFILE

Aid Year: 2012

Academic Institution:
Cornell University
Administrative Function:
Financial Aid
Due Date:
02/15/2011

Description

You will need to file the College Scholarship Service (CSS) PROFILE in order to complete your application for financial aid. If you have not already done so, complete the PROFILE online at College Admissions - SAT - University & College Search Tool as soon as possible. We must receive your PROFILE data before we can review your request for financial aid.

And on the My to do list, the To do item is CSS profile :expressionless: without saying it is submitted and completed or not.

What does this mean?
