So i definitely backfired this year.

So i planned on taking 4 ap classes this year but now i find myself only taking 2. I had planned for ap human geography, ap english, ap government, and ap psychology, along with h chemistry and h pre cal. Now i am taking ap human geography, h pre cal, ap english, h chemistry, art 3, and weight training.
I just paniced, i dont like my school, i hate alot of the students...my school is so ghetto. If i could be in a class where it was just me, then id be fine. Like doing independent study or home schooled. School is just too stressful. Im hoping to pull of straight a's this year because my last 2 classes are joke classes. But i really cant be that mad about how ive slacked off, because id rather trade misery for happiness then have to bust my ass and be tired and miserable for 9 months. And just to top it off, im also taking spanish 2 in a correspondent class that i do at home, so im technically taking 7 classes instead of 6...which is what my school offers. But my question is, did i make a mistake by taking weight training?

(The backstory was not necessary)

In my opinion, yes, you made a mistake by taking weight training. I would switch that class for a study hall if it's possible. Is that an actual CLASS where you're graded or is it a sport extracurricular?

it is an actuall class, we have to build strength and physically lift more weight after certain periods of time, and we have written tests on different muscle groups and other such things, like what is the bicep and tricep.

I think you're fine.

I definitely think you can take a more worthwhile class because really, you could do that in your free time, or even do it as an extracurricular sport (weightlifting).

Edit- Oh, we're talking in the past tense here. Then yeah, while that wasn't the BEST choice, it wasn't terrible.

well tomorrow is my last day to change my schedule.....im thinking about human anatomy...replacing weight training, with honors human anatomy.

Good grief! You need a phys ed class to keep your body in shape, and to clear out your brain for your academic courses! Stay in the weight training.

Can you take the honors human anatomy class, see how it's like, and then perhaps switch out a few days later?

What. Most high schools require PE, never mind that it's good for you. I fail to see how taking a PE class is a 'mistake'. I think you're fine, OP.

wow, just because weightlifting isnt an ACADEMIC class, doesn't mean its not worthwhile. weightlifting is pretty interesting and learning about the muscle groups is also. im sorry for not taking a 100 AP classes like you.

well i see everyone's point. and ive decided to stick with the weight training just because i enjoy it, and it gives me an opportunity to exercise which i otherwise wouldnt have.
