Like the title says, I was accepted as a transfer into both W&M and UVA, but am having the hardest time deciding between the two, both obviously being great schools..
At W&M I would be studying finance, where at UVA I would be doing econ (financial concentration)... I plan to go for banking upon graduation. Finance had always been my original intention, but due to my current lack of foreign language credits McIntire was a no go for me, hence the application to CAS econ at UVA. Looking at both programs, I am realizing that either could be really good..
Can anyone provide any insight as to why I should pick one school, one of the programs over the other?? Any input is appreciated, esp. first-hand ;). Thanks!

Bear in mind that for the econ financial concentration, you have to get “B” or better in econometrics (ECON 472) to DECLARE the concentration under current rules. I know the requirements have changed two months ago for those intending to pursue this concentration in the future though. My friend however completed his econometrics course at London School of Economics during a summer course and earned an equivalent grade, and was able to fulfill the requirement. Did you complete econometrics yet?

My suggestion is to visit [University of Virginia | Economics](Department of Economics |) and double check.
