I heard NU highly reccomned student to visit campus, but I haven't been there.
Is there more chance to get in if I visit NU? It's not easy for me to go there right now(no money, no time).

I think the reason why they like students to visit the campus is because it shows that the applicant is taking Northwestern seriously and really wants to attend. Obviously, if you're not qualified, it doesn't matter how many times you visit--you won't be accepted. It won't make or break you, I believe. It may moreso for Early Decision. If you have the opportunity, then yes. Not everyone does it though, and definitely not a majority do.

Applying Early Decision to any school, including NU, shows them all the love that you need to show 'em.

^ Absolutely true. ED is probably the most interest you can show and a visit isn't going to make it any higher.

My cousin went there, I searched in internet, I prettty much live in NU website, and I love it!
Do you think I have lesser chance if I don't check any?cause i think pretty much everyone will check it at least one.

I've been to their CTD summer program two times...does that count?

sure, why not? anything affiliated with the school is helpful.

When I went to Northwestern, the admissions officer told the group that they like it when students visit, but its not that important. They understand that the opporunity may not present itself, but if it does, you should take it. Personally...

However for me, I found all of these sessions really interesting and beneficial, they mentioned a lot of stuff that isnt in the information book and the website. You cant really get a feel for a college unless you visit it.

I live an hour away from Evanston. The first time I set foot on campus was move in day. jk. But seriously - I didn't visit NU until after I was accepted and I went to Wildcat Weekend or whatever it was called. You're not going to get rejected because you don't visit.
