so i received a scholarship to a diff campus...

i received a ten thousand dollar scholarship to psu wb. does that mean that the university park rejected me?

i find it hard to believe considering i have a 1350 sat and a good gpa.

That is probably why you received it there. Is it renewable for 4 years? Are you from PA?

umm i am from PA. but it doesnt say anything about my first choice campus rejecting me or anything. i don't get it. i find it really hard to believe that main would not take me.

From previous posts you indicate a 3.4 GPA, which is the low end for UP. And the main consideration is GPA. Yes your SAT is great but they have also indicated that they are accepting fewer this year due to the huge enrollment last year.
You are real fortunate to get the scholarship, probably due to your SAT, and in two years you can go to UP.
I am curious, was WB your second choice? It just says you have been accepted, but to WB?

umm wb was my second choice. but the letter doesn't mention UP anywhere.

I had 1350 and 3.8 and I got into main.... no scholarship though.

" . . . but they have also indicated that they are accepting fewer this year due to the huge enrollment last year."

Actually, they are looking to enroll the second largest class ever.

15% increase in OOS apps so far
9% increase in in-state apps so far
enrolled 8,300 last year at UP
aiming to enroll 7,ooo this year at UP

Shocked you didn't get into UP (avg. gpa is 3.7 though) but also realize PSU does not give out a lot of money.... so they are telling you they really want you! I don't blame you for being so frustrated!!!

If his GPA is 3.4 weighted, perhaps I can understand, for PSU goes by weighted GPA.
