Chances at Rutgers College, New Bruncwick University College(regular-artsandsci), and Newark's Arts and Sciences College
Stats/info:
ACT-29(highest sections E33,M29,R34,S26)
GPA--3.7, 4.3---top 25%
Residency- KY
entended major--history(history/polsci if at rutgers college)
SAT subs(do you guys think i should even send these)- world history-790, us history-720, spanish-570
Essay- really awesome if they take time to even read it (i heard rutgers did more of a stat evaluation)---though i have an extra question about my essay: i sent it(my essay) in the mail because it was too long to send in online and i really didnt want to cut it down--it's about 50 words over-i still used really effective writing--do you think they will still consider it?

You're GPA is pretty good. You know , if you want to go to Rutgers College of New Brunswick minimum GPA is 3.0 with 1600~1800 SAT.

Rutgers look students's SAT and GPA a lot!!
Two are the main factors, and I don't know. It would be different if you live in out of the New Jersey. I think it's tougher, but don't give up!

As long as you do well on the SAT, I'm sure you are going to Rutgers College or maybe better college.

some else please ---i need reassurance dang it!

ok i guess ill be reasurance... firstly why did you apply to University college ... i dont think thats the arts and sciences thats a whole different program.. correct me if im wrong... most peolpe apply to livingston and rutgers college all part of NEW brunswick
ok down to the good stuff... reply with the conversion of the ACT to the SAT and ill give u the lay down but heres my speculation so far
Newark is no question-.- .. ur in
Rutgers College- your GPA is good enough need to know your standerdized test scores and i dont think RUtgers reallly reads the essays... they have too many applicants and their organization is ****..
ok thats it so far .. just give me the conversion

Isn't University College mostly transfers and part-time students? Your stats are better than mine and I got into Rutgers College so don't sweat it. But babs has a good question: What does a 29 on the ACT translate to for the SATs? Whatever it is, I don't think you have to worry since your subject test scores for history are really good. A 790 in World History? Where were you when I was a freshman? I could've used the help. Lol. Good luck. I'm sure you'll get in.

According to this chart, an ACT score of 29 translates to about a 1300 (out of 1600).

yeah sry i applied to livingston no the univeristy college- i've no idea where i got that from...yeah a 29 on the ACT is converted on most charts to a 1300---should i send in by subject score---i didn't think a large public would look at these and additionally since collegeboard reports are cumulative i don't want them to see by utterly embarrasing SATI scores---i took it once and had know idea what it was going to be all about

umm firstly i dont think RUtgers would care about your subject score since they only look at SATS and GPA on the mostpart... and the thing is if u sent your scores .. u send in everything anyway so yeh...

1300? and a 3.7 GPA top 25%???

sorry your rejected... its ok go to a community college or something

yeh im kidding your in.. dont worry about it

alright -thanks for the reassurance- i hope i do get in
