So... I'll have 50.5 units by the time I finish high school.

Oops...that's right...your classes don't show up, just the terms you took the class, units, grade points, and institution.

And I don't know abou the "W" situation on your transcript.

holy crap i'll have 65.35 units does that mean i'll have junior standing

from the above posts, yes but you won't get it until the second semester of your first year.

why not....

according to eiffelguy87 (above): "Your class standing will change after your first semester. It takes the university a while to process your transcripts. I now have junior standing in my second semester as a first year at Cal."

so basically, if i use my AP scores to receive credits, my transcript will only say: "Transfer standing"? (It won't say whether I got a 3, 4, or 5?) - cause that would make life a lot more simplle. =)

ya, but if you apply to a major like business and want to use the ap credit for that you'll need to report the scores to them

There is a time factor for the university to process them and put them in the data base. There are 4,000 + new students who are sending transcripts from their high schools, community college, private 4 years, or public 4 years. This takes a while to filter through. You may notice that you have junior standing earlier or later.
