So, is the 1296 book any good?

Easier, harder, about the same? I feel like the math section always has these questions that are completely random and often more difficult than what the real ACT tests. For the reading section there always seems to be questions that aren't very well supported.

What do you guys think?

I have the book, I think it’s alright- but not at all good.

There are quite a few mistakes in the answer keys and the reading section has a few ambiguous questions (but so did the Sept ACT). That said, I finished the entire book and went from a 33 to a 35, so it must have helped me a little

Right, the math part of the book is hard, and the answers are not understandable.

I agree that the math section is harder and the some english questions are ambiguous;however, it’s a valuable resource for the practice tests. It was the main thing that helped me go from a 28->31->35.

^ wow congrats on the significant improvement!!
Yeah the math section answers can be a little annoying. Especially if you put C and the book’s explanation is “The answer is obviously not C”… Overall good though.

its probabaly one of the closest tests made by outside developers. I up’ed my english from 23-28 using it, i got around 28 in math and 33 on the test made by ACT.
