So Upset

I applied early action to the FLL. I just got my October SAT II scores in and I got a 570 on Spanish.

My chances are done.

Hey, Sync, do not despair.

Maybe you won't get into Georgetowm, but you'll be in VERY good comapny.

Many qualified applicants do not.

Just find (if you have not already) some truly match schools for you and yourmintended major that you would be happy at.

It is not the ned of the world not to get into our first choice (though it may seem that way).

Just pick up and go on. You will have a great experience. Jst don't get too down.

And, as for Georgetown, you never do know. I dont know the rest of your story and #s, but stranger things have happened.

But, in the event that they do not, you'll be fine.

Georgetown says that October scores will not be looked at on the Early Action Application… you should be fine!

Do Not Worry! I repeat - DO NOT. My language SAT II was pretty much that same as yours and I got in EA to FLL. Actually, all of my SATII's were pretty sad, come to think of it. Just remember it's the whole picture that counts.

tofu... what was ur class rank and what were ur extracurrics, im curious

Ummm...class rank top 1% (somewhere between 8th-12th, don't really remember). Extracurriculars: youth symphony orchestra, environmental club, swimming, CSF (CA's version of National Honor Society). I also studied abroad the summer before my senior year of high school...I think that's it.

Tofu, dude its CALI, not CA. Come on man.

hahaha seriously though, aka is right...

october scores aren't looked at for EA??

I got my October scores back and i heart them so i sure HOPE georgetown considers them versus my june ones
