So... what do you think?

So, I picked up my schedule yesterday. As I rising junior, I do want to take the toughest course load offered by my school. Among 2 other APs, 2 other honors, and 1 regular class, I got put into AP Chemistry and PAP Physics.

I didn't particularly like that 1 regular class hanging around, so I decided to change my schedule. I wanted to change that one regular class to AP Environmental Science. However, the counselors wouldn't let me. Apparently there was some (made up) rule about students not being able to take 3 science classes in one year. One of the people even tried to report me for having 2 sciences in one schedule!

What do you think? Does your school do this too?

They probably made this rule for the kids trying to take AP Chemistry, Physics, and Biology at the same time. Taking those three sciences together, or even alone, can get really, really hard, so they probably made that rule for that reason. I think your schedule is rigorous enough with 4 APs and 2 Honors. Sometimes you need an easy class with all the other hard classes.
