I am going in to AP Physics B Exam COLD! I have never studied in the class, and I get 20's and 30's on class tests. I took a practice MC exam and got 29/70 correct and rest wrong. I failed the class with a 62. I know I will get a 1 or 2 on the AP Exam. I don't care. It is too late to study anyway. There are only 5 more days. The exam is free anyway. My teacher is also give us 5-10 extra points on our final grade if we take the exam. So I'll go in cold and guess to pass the class.

i have an IB SL math exam tomorrow afternoon . . . i'll start reviewing in the morning.

omg, lil killer, i totally understand ur situation....i do the work but i dunt really get it and my test scores are on a C avg
our study sessions at school dont help at all and i took my practice test last saturday and got a 18/70 right....

and for my calc, i took a practice test and got a 1
X_X im like dead meat already

i just hope to pass my lit test which im pretty good at :D

Sun, I'm in the same situation as you are in calculus. Oh dear, I could really use a miracle at this point. Anyone want to let me borrow their math lobe of the brain for calc? Just kidding.

I'm a cheapskate, I'm in a Calculus 1-2 course at San Diego MESA Community College (read: COLLEGE CALCULUS), but I'm taking AP Calculus AB. Why? Fail-safe, I'm at a 68% right now.

you noe wut ****es me off? i was really good at calc in the beginning of the year....then somehow, my brain cells evaporated xD

im goin to bed in an hour like my teacher recommended...maybe the cells would regenerate in the process....morro i have to be at school by 7.30am....my teacher's providing us breakfast :D

Haha, that's nice. My lit teacher will be providing breakfast. My calc teacher on the other hand will be providing us with a reminder that the AP Calc exam is hard, haha.

AHAHAHHAHAh , my calc teacher put on the white board : BUY BATTERIES.....

lol hoping for a 3 on calc, although practice tests haven't gone very well :/.

My calc teacher could care less about calculators, haha. I can imagine her saying, "Back in the olden days, we didn't have calculators. Instead, we had highly technological devices called fingers."

ziggy: More and more evidence is showing that stress has a major suppressive impact on the immune system. Might explain why you get sick all the time when tests come around the corner.

Or your brain's just a flaming slacker.

I kid.

lol I not sure if anyone else will be taking the calc exam w/ me...hopefully @ least one person.

4 originally signed up (out of my calc class of 12), but 1, maybe 2 backed or are going to back out b/c they don't feel prepared.

lol fingers!!! hilarious....how ancient is your teacher?

karch: hmm, never happens for SATs or anything, but I assume that there is some correlation between test anxiety and illness, which is kind of depressings.....a runny nose often means lower test scores :(.

i wouldnt stress too much about the test ziggy, its not going to affect your admissions....though it would help to pass them, so you can save money in college

well, better get some rest for AP calc exam tomorrow...only lookin' at about 6 hrs of sleep.

peace.

Ancient sounds about right. I think she's been teaching calc for at least 18 years. I think she's been teaching in general for almost 30 years. At one point in her life, she used either fingers or the abacus. Either way, it sounds ancient to me.

wow abacus....that's BEYOND ancient....

Don't take it literally, haha. It's always a joke in my class about how long my calc teacher has been teaching for. But yeah, that would be ancient. She probably would have been great friends with Pythagoras.

ahhhh...my teacher is cool but pretty weird...he likes to make weird sounds like "bah bah bah".....
hey, are you goin to college anytime soon?
