I know being socially awkward may be something that you've never encountered in your life but it is really my dilemma.

In elementary school I was very outgoing. Something major happened during my middle school year and I have gradually become more and more socially awkward. What can I do to grow out of it? It is now becoming a bigger and bigger problem and I just don't know how to deal with it.

I’ve noticed that there are different types of socially awkward people.

Are you just shy? Or do you not know how to interact with other people and they tend to avoid you because they find the conversations “awkward”?

Don’t worry! Socially awkward is my middle name.

…never ever, I am the female Casanova. Partially why I like to hang out on CC. So many potential suitors knocking down my door… Don’t worry, you’re in good company.

Middleschool is just bleh all around D: Nobody really revels in it excepting those kids that get a leg up on puberty  .Anyhow, I digress. Maybe start doing things with other people in a study group? That’s a good way to get to meet people.

When you get to college just be spontaneous! Join a lot of organizations, see which one fits you best This too shall pass.

i was the most popular kid in middle school. i had friends calling me up nonstop, but those days are history. I am socially awkward myself! its senior year, and i dont think i can really call anyone my “friend” more like…aquaintances. but yeah. you’re not alone man.

Yea I often times wish I was less awkward too. I don’t think I was always like this. It’s strange.
