<p>how is the social life for guys who dont plan to join frats?
since most of the parties on campus are frat parties, what do guys who arent in frats do?</p>
<p>I think a lot of people, especially OOS-ers, join frats because they think that might be the only way to party or meet friends. Though it’s definitely an option, there are so many other ways to have fun.</p>
<p>The first few weeks of school, pretty much everyone goes to the frats for lack of creativity. But then, clubs start having social events off campus, and your friends in other dorms will have get togethers. One of my friends my freshman year invited pretty much everyone he knew to his dorm to party and there ended up being like 100 people crowding in his room. It was a fire hazard so it calmed down, hah, but just an example.</p>
<p>I’m a senior and I go to a bar that’s a block away from my house, and my friends come to my house all the time. Every year is a little different… but always a lot of fun. 
I don’t have the energy to stay up too late anymore like I did freshman year.</p>
