<p>What is the social scene like at Yale? Are people friendly? Is it easy to find fun stuff to do on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays? Do Yale students generally know how to kick back and relax? What is the party scene like and what is the presence of alcohol like?</p>
<p>Sorry, lots of questions lol. Anyone who can comment on these topics will be appreciated.</p>
<p>I cannot speak from personal experiences, but based on what I have read it seems that there are plenty of things to do at Yale whatever your preference and that the social life is pretty diverse. Here are some short threads I’ve found that describe Yale’s social scene:</p>

<p>My DS is a freshman at Yale and he chose Yale over other ivys because of the laid back non pretentious attitude and the gatherings that happen all over campus. He said there are plenty of parties organized by the residential colleges and numerous clubs. He’s never bored and finds there is more to do socially than he has time for…you just have to be open to meeting new people and going to events that you might never have considered before. You will find that going to performances that your new friends are in can be fun…so many creative people on campus…and you can flow from one crowd to another…good luck…is has been a perfect choice for him.</p>
