I applied for Groton on January 10th, I know a little bit late. I'm wondering when I will hear from them. I think that they have rolling admissions, is this true? I know with two other schools I am applying to, St. Paul's and St. Marks, are emailing me on March 9th, do you think I'll hear from Groton earlier or later? Also, do you think St. Paul's and St. Marks will send the email exactly at 12:00 AM March 9th or later on in the day. Thanks from someone slightly anxious to hear back.

Groton is very selective. No rolling admissions… They will mail out acceptances on March 9/ or 10. All acceptance letters from most selective schools will arrive around the same day. SPS, St. Marks, and Groton are all in that category. I don’t think they will send it out on exactly that time. There is a thread for it somewhere under Prep School Admissions. Don’t worry, we are all anxious. That’s why I’m scouring the forums for hours everyday… Too nervous to do anything else xD

Groton’s application deadline was January 15, so you were on time. St. Mark’s, St. Paul’s and Groton all mail/email on March 10. Because that is a Sunday this year some schools will email/mail on Saturday.

You will receive the notice either on March 10 or 9. What difference would it make anyway?

24 hours of anxiety:(

@PxAlaska Agreed, probably THE worst 24 hours!!
