Some advice, eh?

Wow haha i walked out of the subject tests in may confident in both history and biology, and i recieved a 660 and 650 respectively. How bad of a score is that? According to collegeboard, i did better than 51 % of people in bio and 63% of people in history (wow...).

And how horribly will my 480 in literature affect me? I am planning on retaking it, while not having to hold in my **** for a hour and a half. Evil proctor officially screwed me over in that test.

what do u want to major in for college? 660 and 650 are decent scores, but it will look bad if you apply as a history major with only a 660 SAT II score, etc.

And a 480 in lit will hurt a lot. Definitely retake it.

Ya i'm planning to retake, and im fairly confident on my AP lit and Lang scores, so would they just realize it was a bad test? I mean if i sent it, and they see lets say a 700 and a 480, and 2 4s on my AP lit and lang test, would they realize it was just a bad test and i held in my pee for 1 and a half hours while taking that test?

And definitely i dont plan on majoring in biology or history, i was just told that some colleges require subject tests, and i was in APUSH and was taking the AP Bio test, so i was like why not. I plan on taking the reasoning test in Oct. and the Subject tests in math 2C and Lit in november. Sound good or...?

It seems ok. I did really well on AP French Lang (got a 4) but messed up the SAT II French W/ Listening due to an inability to follow instructions and use a CD player properly. [Plus SAT II was harder]. I got a 600 on that SAT II.

That being said, most colleges, while they will see all of your SAT II scores, **will only take into consideration your two highest scores **when determining whether or not to give you admission. So don't worry too much about that 480. Retake it anyway, though, if you have time. It's not like you could score worse.

So you can send in ANY two sat II scores? I hear most colleges (competitive ones?) require math IIC and Lit usually, thast why i took the lit one. I'm not really sure though

sorry to kindof invade the post, but if you do get a 680ish on the SAT II Biology and want to go into pre-med, thats gonna look bad? Even if the college doesn't require SAT IIs?

If the college doesn't require SAT IIs, it will get your scores, but probably won't even look at them. I believe colleges get **all **your SAT II scores--you don't get to pick and choose.

The college i'm looking at says "SAT Subject Tests considered if submitted"
Will it still look bad? =</p>

whatever i think im gonna retake it

oh, i heard that colleges request them. Im pretty sure they cant just automatically get ur scores, although some colleges might require u to send them. I was told by my counselor that SAT II is like the AP tests, that you dont need to send them. But i'm not sure, you cant really generalize all colleges into 1
