Some application questions

Hey guys, I’m trying to get my application done within the next two days. So, I have a few questions about the application:

Do you have to report all your AP test scores, even if you got 2’s on them? And do you have to send official copies of your AP test scores?

Can I put tutoring under the “paid and volunteer work experience”? Or does that go somewhere else?

When you list your courses for this year, do you indicate “AP” or “Honors” under the “Credit” part, or is that just for transfer students?

I feel kind of unsure about whether I should submit my essay by typing it in or through uploading it, because the computer I have that has internet does NOT have Microsoft Word, so I’d have to save my essay to a flash drive and search for it on there. I don’t know. I’m afraid it won’t work. Will it let you preview it?

On the NYU forums, it says you can go over the word limit for your essay; it just has to be good. Is this true? Because I heard some other people saying that they cut it off after 500 words or whatever.

Wow, if you answer all these, you guys are my heroes! Thank you so much.

I dont think you HAVE to report it, but it will look weird when your transcript comes with AP classes, and you arent reporting any exam grades. You DONT have to send official copies of your AP scores.

Yes. That is where you should put it.

Not just for transfer students, if you took honors/AP, show it off!

I dont think it really matters, but if you are iffy about a word processor, just type it in

They didnt cut my essay at 500 words, but they did cut my answers at 500 characters, and that includes spaces.

Hope that helped!

Thanks Bryanm!
This might sound really stupid, but if you upload the essay from Word, should it be double-spaced or single-spaced?

Mine was single spaced, but I dont think it really matters.
