Some questions about TAG and applying

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>So I have a few questions:
1. To apply for TAG, do I NEED 45 units right now? Right now I have 41.5 UC transferrable units, and 51.5 overall. I was planning on taking one more class right now in summer, but unfortunately something came up in my life and I couldn't do it. So, am I doomed to be TAG-less? Or will there be a way for them to count my Fall classes also?</p>

<li><p>A question regarding IGETC: I took Japanese 4 last Fall, so I was wondering if that fulfills both the Foreign Language requirement AND the Humanities requirement?</p></li>
<li><p>So possibly facing not being able to do TAG, I was wondering what my chances would be of getting into UCI for Business Admin with a 3.8 GPA (right now anyway, hopefully it will stay there or go up). I'm getting kind of worried that I'm totally going to mess up this application process and get screwed for another year. </p></li>
<li><p>For UCI Business Econ, how important are the Computer Science Java prereqs? Is there any point going for Biz Econ without them? </p></li>

<li><p>you need 30 semester units and 45 quarter units BY fall, as you are submitting your tag app in sept. im actually taking 3 classes this summer to qualify for tag in time.</p></li>

<li><p>if you have any questions about the application process i would try to go on here or to your conselor. no clue about your chances though, im not even going to apply to uci.</p></li>

<p>IFrom the UC website: Courses and exams may be used only once to satisfy one IGETC subject area, even if they are listed in the course agreements under more than one subject area. Courses may be used to satisfy both IGETC and major requirements.</p>

<p>So for #2, you’d have to take a separate humanities class.</p>
