somebody said UCB Econ accept lower gpa than UCLA

well I was looking 2009 fall UCB acceptance thread

there are plenty of people who has around 3.7 Gpa got admitted

(well much more than UCLA....that's what I saw so far...)

is it true?

well if it is true... does it means they more consider other stuff such as EC or Essay?

IF that’s the case, I’m relieved. I have a 3.77 and I’m nervous about applying. =/

thats a lie, the stats you are looking at were for 2009. each year the gpa goes up. my friend had a 3.8 and got rejected from both for econ. my advice, change ur major to something with a lower gpa, but that u r still interested if u really want to go to either of those schools

I dont know if berkeley is significantly easier, but for ucla the average accepted gpa for econ was a 3.95
