Someone stole my calculator!

Someone stole my TI-89. I came back from track practice and all my pockets in my back pack were open and calculator gone. I felt an array of emotions and the current one is that I'm very upset and felt like making a thread on it.

I lost my calculator in gym class too... Luckily I someone gave me a ti-83+ and a ti-82 (now I have two calculators

Aw, I'm sorry...TI-89s are nice. There's always an "lol" moment when someone says they have their calculator stolen, though, because I always picture a street gang of calc nerds mugging people.

LOL sad thing is that was exactly what I had pictured because I thought "who would steal a calculator?"

duuude. im really sorry about your calculator. =(. my ipod nano was stolen a few months ago. welcome to my school. its a wealthy school but everybody seems to have sticky fingers.

we had a rally at which the student body president asked everyone (by class..then faculty) to stand up if they had ever had anything stolen at school.

EVERYBODY was standing by the time she called all the classes. teachers included. it sucks.

yea...it sucks, and no its not nerds stealing the calculators because I know kids that have stolen calculators from other people and they sell them for around $50.

Oh gosh, I am so sorry! I'd be so upset if mine got stolen...it sounds totally nerdy, haha, but not only do I need it, it was expensive when I bought it...so I totally understand feeling horrible about it. <3

I know your pain. My TI-83+ was stolen in the 10th grade DURING honors chem class. How dumb is that? I was doing a lab and left my calc on my desk...came back later and it was gone. Needless to say, I was pretty ticked. I use my calc for pretty much everything. I bought a replacement on eBay for around $50.

lol my calculator was stolen during cheerleading practice!! It was a ti-89 too I was really upset but I bought one cheaper on ebay..

I'm so sorry. I thought I lost my calculator once, but it turns out I left it in my locker jammed between some books.

roflmaool. Just a funny, funny image.

I prefer scientific calculators anyway so I wasn't too upset when my TI-83 was stolen. (Our school is in a really bad area and I just randomly left my bag near the fence.) Though I did need to get another one for stats.

that bastard lets get em..............

Sophomore year, I lost my calculator on the giant drop at Six Flags on our physics field trip.

No, I didn't drop it from the giant drop...although, that would've been cool. I put it in the bin where everyone puts their bags and such, and when I got down, it was gone. Trouble was that I put it in a bag with a bunch of candy; I think whoever stole it just wanted the candy.

Ouch...I can't imagine why they would want a Ti-89, unless it was a group of math nerds who stole it haha.

I would probably cry if someone stole my TI-83+, I love that stupid thing.

Yo, hand over the TI-89 if you don't want to be differentiated...hahaha.

Someone stole my TI-89 during the SAT. I went to the hall for break after the first section, came back and it was gone. Sorry though, maybe you can get a cheap one off of amazon or ebay.

take the L and get a new one.

What's funny about stolen calculators is that they end up on ebay for $30.

wow i left my ti-83 im my chem class and some freshman picked it up and gave it to my teacher...so i got it back....
