Something's up with my app...this happened to anyone?

Well, first...I got a letter from UW that said I didn't complete all of my application, requesting that my family info gets filled out...

but i already did it. regardless, i sent in it (and fast so they get it asap), along with a copy of the family info part of my online transcript so that they hopefully understand that i had already put it down on the online app...

secondly, they only received my July 05 score on SATs...now, does anyone know whether all scores are entered into their database simultaneously or is there usually some sort of delay? I took the SAT I again on October 2005, where I got 1970...whereas the first one was 1850, so I really do want them to receive the second one as well...and yes, I did check collegeboard.com to see if that one should have been sent to UW.

Oh well...now that my app is under full review process...i really do hope i get in.

but please...it'd be awesome if someone could clarify on these two issues.

and oh...I got a good dose of input, but I really am curious to know...could I get in?

Stats:

GPA: 3.69 unweighted.

[NOTE: This was due to an attendance problem . Because of lack of communication between the school and my house over the summer (I was gone to the learning center often, and everyone else was in Korea then), I couldn't do the reinstatement project and eventually failed one class. I explained to them that I would make it up in Spring when I take an online course...but yeah, it shows up as an F on the transcript. I had 10 1/3 absences (mainly due to tardies, because my brother wouldn't wake up early enough and he didn't take the punishment because his first period class was up the hill and didn't have bells). If I had kept the A-, it would be 3.85...but they wouldn't care anyways. This is the reason why I'm feeling so unsure about getting in UW]

Application sent on December 11th.

no inputs? :(

uh..so ok, apparently they have it in their file, just not put into the transcript status i suppose...they said they'd add it later.

input would still be cool though :).

Why do you have that face when you said your Asian? You gotta be proud! I sure am! LOL.

As far as your situation. For the SAT scores, I think they are entered into the database as soon as someone is able to. When I sent my app in, my scores were sent a long time before that. When I checked my status online, I had to wait about a week for them to enter my scores in the database.

As long as you explain to them that you did fill out the family info section, I think they'd understand. So I wouldn't worry.

Honestly, with your stats and EC I think you have a good chance. Especially being in-state. Good luck!

Excellent chance, I believe. Good test scores, good GPA, in-state...

I think you've probably got something like an 85% chance at admission. Write a good essay, and you're a lock.

^

problem is...

-i think my essay sucked -_-;

but...

+i did forget to mention that i am a legacy (father went to UW)

balances out? hopefully....

Wouldn't worry too much. As long as you didn't spit on your application and turn that in as your essay, I think you're okay. Legacy definitely helps; I would be pretty surprised if you weren't admitted.
