Son and roommates don't have an apartment...

Son & his two roommates thought they had secured an apartment for next school year, but due to lack of communication and other factors (mostly their fault), they found out recently they do not have the place they thought they would.

Any advice on places to look for places to live still? Their original plan was to get an apartment some place near Tom's Creek Rd/Patrick Henry, I believe since none of them have cars and like to bike. Either 3 bedroom or 2 bedroom.

We've been searching Craigslist and some websites online but most of the places we call that fit what they're looking for aren't available (even ones that were posted within the week). If you guys have any other advice, it'd be appreciated, otherwise I think it's a sign that the son needs to learn a little lesson about responsibility. Thank you!

are you nearby? There may be postings in the academic buildings, though it’s somewhat unlikely.

Keep checking craigslist, put your own WANTED ad up on craigslist, and maybe try calling foxridge+other apartment sellers to see if there are any fresh vacancies

Try the Foxridge web site roommate locator:

The Village (near the Patrick Henry/Toms Creek intersection) has a sign up now saying they’re offering leases for 2011-2012. I lived in their Phase II apartments last summer and had friends in Phase I last year; the apartments are pretty nice (and just over $400/month).
