Critical Reading - 510

Math - 800 :)

Multiple Choice 57 (score range: 20-80)

Essay 9 (score range: 2-12) i did nothing but bs and got a 9 :)

1900

as you can see, i´m terrible at reading and i´m aiming at 2100-2200 my next take or the one after as a senior...

can you guys give me tips or help on the reading and writing.. should i prepare myself, if so which books.. or should i hire a tutor or go to classes like princeton review or something??

also do you guys think i should retake SAT II math level 1 which i got a 720 on? i´m aiming for "selective" colleges?

The best thing to do for reading is just practice practice practice. You’ll come to see patterns and eventually you’ll start getting only one or two passage-based questions wrong. For the vocab part, you have plenty of time to start reading a lot if you don’t already. Write down any words you don’t know along with the page number and look them up later and then read them again in context. If those strategies don’t seem to do anything for you (which is doubtful) then a tutor might be beneficial.

Definitely retake the math score. In fact, if I were you I’d just wait until I was a Junior or Senior and take the Math II test. Colleges generally prefer it and the curve is nicer (i think 800 is like 90th %ile).
