<p>I know that chances of finding a dorm as a transfer this year is slim but I'm going to try apply for housing. Are there any recommendations as to which dorms are best for transfer students (meet people)?</p>
<p>You honestly don’t really have a choice. If you manage to get into housing, there is a 99% chance that you will be in Lafayette</p>
<p>Jazz is right, you’ll most likely be placed in Laf- especially since housing for this upcoming school year is overflowing. You might want to try your luck at a bed for bed though, or keep your eyes out during first semester if you do happen to get into housing (check fb groups, or post in them); people go abroad and you can take their rooms second semester. My roommate and I were in Carlyle first semester of our sophomore year and then took the spot of two students in Gramercy second semester who studied abroad in</p>
