Are there schools you are heartbroken that you didn't apply to? Why didn't you apply?

Heartbroken is the wrong word, but there are a couple of schools that I wish I had looked at.

I was looking at colleges in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 and the uncertainty of the time, prevented me from looking anywhere that I would have to fly, so I limited my range from Dartmouth to Davidson to Notre Dame. The irony is that I flew back and forth from Boston College frequently during college. I wish I had looked at Northwestern and UC Berkeley.

On an unrelated note, at the time I did not want to look at women's colleges, but Wellesley is an amazing campus with incredible resources.

The reality is that I wouldn't have traded my BC experience for anything in the whole world, but just some food for thought.

I wish I had applied to Notre Dame. No particular reason, just because I live in Ireland and would like to go there!

Cornell, Dartmouth, Notre Dame, Johns Hopkins

even though I probably wouldnt have gotten into any of them haha

Usc, Ucsd.

I should have applied to Colgate

I wish I would have applied to some of the UCs. I didn't try because I didn't think I'd get into any of them (being out-of-state), but my school has apparently become a feeder school to UCLA this year...

Now I really wish I would have tried.
