sort of a chance thread, but not really .. just need a reality check

hey guys
i'm here to ask some advice/getting myself a reality check.. um

as for brief stats
4.66w gpa (most rigorous courseload)

2250 SAT .. 690 CR 760 M 800 W
^- i had a bit of a blip on my first try of SATs and i'm retaking this october and i am confident that I will get at least mid 700s for the CR section (what I usually get on practice tests)

ECs..
they can be categorized into "doing" theology (reading famous texts during the bulk of my week and writing about them), which convicts me to do a LOT of community service and i did a project to raise around $7000 dollars among many others, and i've done a fair share of journalism work--had an internship for 6 months at a local newspaper and actually had the opportunity to get quite a few of my articles/op-ed articles published.

i don't know maybe i'm totally wrong but i guess theology is sort of a unique EC?

recs/essays
i will have very strong recs and essays (as i like writing)

well first off. i'm applying to umich early response, can i get in there? (OOS)
for early, (haha) i was gonna do cornell initially then had this brief stint of falling in love with bucolic LACS but i sorta realized my personality doesn't fit in with that .. so .. dun dun dun.. i like how Yale is SCEA and it's not binding.
i guess i'm asking if i should shoot for the stars haha! if i have absolutely zip chance, i probably won't bother. by the way, i'm a senior.

other schools i've looked at so far ..
dartmouth
brown
harvard
princeton
cornell
boston college
umich
still possibly amherst/williams (a step lower-middlebury,colby [i would qualify as an urm at midd and colby)

mm i guess i don't have a lot of matches, any suggestions? if you've read this far, thanks so much for reading my extremely convoluted thoughts

ummm bump please!

Class rank, class size, ethnicity, gender, unweighted GPA, competititvenes of high school, and location?
