Sounds ironic...but I need more schools to apply!!

As of right now, I've applied to...
UMich (Early Response)
UT-Austin (in-state..but doesn't mean ill get into business school)
Boston College (EA)
UPenn
UVA
Washington Univ. in St.Louis

I just realized that I should apply to more schools than this, just in case something bad happens lol

Can you guys help me find a good match school and/or a school where I would get some scholarship money??

Here are my stats........

I meant to correct my Common App essays after submitting my EA app but it turns out that you can't fix anything after you've applied somewhere...:(

Can you help me decide where to apply to?

Like I said above, I really need some match schools!!
Also, do you think that I have a chance of getting into the 6 schools that I've applied to so far???

Thank you guys so much!! Good luck to everyone!!!!!!!!!1

100% sure you’ll get into UTA

They will admit the top 5-7% applicants just based on that bogus top 10% admission law. If the 75% quota is filled up before they reach top 5% applicants, you’ll still beat out the rest of people in top 10%, non top 10%, private/oos

Im ranked 11%, and i’ve pretty much accepted the fact i wont get into McCombs, unless they feel my prior investment experience is outstanding

Just plan on a MBA and don’t worry about McCombs as an undergrad, unless you want to be an accountant or something.

I am already in UT for Economics, but I really want to get in McCombs. However, if I get into another school(ex UMich) with a scholarship, I’ll probably go there…

You didnt pick unspecified business for your 1st major?

ull probably get into mccombs but prob not honors

Woswill : I did–but I know that I got in for Economics(2nd choice) for sure bc I’m 10% :)

Holy Cross-very similar to Boston College.

If your looking at undergraduate business, Notre Dame, it’s like Boston College, only worse at football and better at most other things. You’d be surprised how many Texans there are, and specifically Asian females from the Dallas area. Plus, after Pennsylvania, ND has more national reputation than the schools listed above and Princeton Review rates ND as #2 for career placement services.

wheres the irony?

maybe vanderbilt…seeing as how uva and wustl are both similar

Holy Cross? It’s kinda like BC.

Kinda like BC (suburban, private, mid-sized) but easier to get into…Wake Forest, Villanova.

Kinda like Michigan (large, nice college town, public, good in business) but easier to get into…Wisconsin, Indiana

Kinda like Penn (urban, private, mid-sized)) but easier to get into…Georgetown, Tulane.

A little like UVA (small town, beautiful campus, public) but much easier to get into…Miami (Ohio), Colorado- Boulder.

Do you think that I’ll have a strong/good chance of getting into Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Georgetown?
At this time of the year I don’t want to apply to a college where I don’t have a good chance of getting in!!!

Thank you guys so much for your advice:)

You should get into Indiana without a problem and would probably be a direct admit to the Kelley School with your scores and GPA. Wisconsin-Madison should also be a safety. Sorry I don’t know anything about the business school there.

I found out today that I got into UMich!! I’m so excited!!
I hope I get into BC too! Can’t wait until saturday…lol

I think I am going to apply to Kelley as another safety…thanks rrah!

Cancel ur UT app to make more room for dummies like me j/k lol

Why?

McCombs MBA > McCombs BBA

You don’t need a BBA to get a MBA
